Grants and incentives for an Italian company
Public funding is not a catalogue to browse: each call has its own requirements, eligible costs and deadline. We start from your project and the official text, and we tell you when the honest answer is that nothing fits.

What we do
We frame the project
Location, activity, investment and timing: the four elements that decide which measures are worth reading at all.
We check the measure
Requirements, eligible costs, windows and official sources are compared with your case. The pre-check does not guarantee access to the funding.
We define the engagement
If an opportunity survives the check, the work and the fee are agreed in a written quote and an engagement letter before anything is filed.
We follow the file
With the engagement in place we support the agreed activities: documents, application and reporting according to the measure.
What to have ready before looking at any call
A list of measures does not tell you whether an application is eligible. Before spending time on a call, four elements have to be checked against its official text: the profile of the company (legal form, size, operating unit and sector), the investment (eligible costs, start date, documents, reporting rules), the timing (when the measure opens and closes) and the cumulation with other aid already requested or obtained.
The rules and the availability of a measure can change. The official documentation of that measure is what counts, not the summary published by an intermediary.
You can start on your own with the grant finder (interface in Italian). Its results are an initial filter, not an opinion on eligibility.
How it works
- 1
First call
We listen to the project and tell you whether there is anything in the current calls that matches it, or whether the honest answer is to wait.
- 2
Eligibility pre-check
Company form, size, operating unit, sector and prior aid received are compared with the text of the measure, on the official sources.
- 3
Written scope and quote
The engagement lists the activities, the documents you have to produce, the deadlines and the fee, including what happens if the application is rejected.
- 4
Application and reporting
We prepare the file, follow the submission and support the reporting of the expenses actually incurred, as the measure requires.
What it costs
By quote, after the eligibility pre-check.
A pre-check is a defined activity and is quoted as such; preparing an application and following the reporting is a different engagement, priced on the documents and deadlines of the specific measure. The fee structure, including any outcome-related component, is stated in the written engagement before work begins.
The quote states the activities included, the documents you have to produce and what happens if the application is rejected.
- Reading of the measure against your company profile
- List of the conditions that could exclude the project
- Written scope and fee for the application, if the project survives the check
The fee structure, including any outcome-related component, is stated in the written engagement before work begins, and no provider can guarantee the outcome of a public call.
What you need from us
Nothing on this list is filed without your instruction or signature. Where a step needs a document issued on your side, we tell you before the deadline, not after it.
What we need from you
- The project description with the investment, the location and the planned start date
- The last annual accounts and the number of employees, which set the company size class
- The list of any public aid already received or requested in the last three years
- Quotes from suppliers and the technical documentation of the investment
- Evidence of the Italian operating unit the investment refers to
What you get from us
- A written assessment of which measures are realistically open to your case
- The list of conditions that could exclude you, stated before the application
- The application file and the reporting, within the agreed engagement
- No promise of funding: the decision is taken by the granting body
Frequently asked questions
Can a foreign-owned SRL apply for Italian public funding?
Yes, if it meets the conditions of the specific measure. Foreign ownership does not by itself determine eligibility: the scheme may require checks on ownership, control, linked enterprises, company size, sector and the location of the investment, and in many cases an operating unit in Italy. A company that is incorporated in Italy but managed entirely from abroad should check the conditions before counting on a call.
What does de minimis mean for my company?
Many incentives are granted under the EU de minimis regime, which caps the aid a single undertaking may receive over a three-year period regardless of the measure. The ceiling and the register of aid already received are part of the eligibility test, and the same group can be treated as a single undertaking, so the check is done before the application.
Does the grant finder confirm that I will get the money?
No. It is an initial filter based on the data entered. Eligibility and availability must be verified on the official call and on the specific case, and the decision belongs to the granting body.
Can I search the calls myself?
Yes. Our grant finder is published on the Italian site and its interface is in Italian; it compares the data you enter with the opportunities in the catalogue. The results are indicative: always check the source and the official requirements.
How are your fees calculated?
By quote. A pre-check is a small, defined activity; an application and its reporting are a larger one, and the fee reflects the documents and the deadlines of the specific measure. The quote says what happens if the application is rejected.
